Hey friends! It's me, Reese! or at least i used to be reese before the name change thank god i got rid of that thing Anyways, I'm glad to say that Chrometia did not die with the forums. I'm still continuing it! It just depends if it gets enough attention? I'm still not really sure what people think about it, hahaha. Anyways, yeah! If any new readers have any questions, put them in a spoiler or something. ^v^ Please catch up to the current point on here if you haven't read Chrometia!! Thank you for reading!
There was also another adventure that came up on Google. It still seemed to be working, but all of the information about it was blanked out and it didn't have a page log. I didn't check how long it went on for. Anyway, is this a reboot? Is that why it's 2? (I assumed it was because of the new forum, but maybe not.) And what happened to the old one if so?
There was another mirror for this that I accidentally broke when I tried to add a missing page, so that might have been the issue there. And this is a slight reboot of the original Chrometia, because mismatcher wanted to change some things that would have conflicted with how some things had changed since she made it.
Ellis and Myda step outside of the room into a long hallway. There are 6 doors along the halls, each of them labelled. One of them is smeared with bright orange fluid. Myda turns around and smiles at him, clapping their hands together.
Myda: Well! Just realized I never asked your name, kid. That was rude of me! Ellis: It's fine. My name is Ellis. I honestly should be the one apologizing for the unprecedented... uh, pick up line? Myda: Heh. I don't blame you. I'm quite the catch. Ellis: Uh. Yeah. "Catch." Anyways, before we proceed, I have some questions. Myda: Ask away!
Ellis: Where exactly are we? Myda: ... Oh, in a hospital far from the local town nearby. You didn't know that? Ellis: ... No. Myda: Huh. You must've conked your head or something. Anyways, you're in the section especially for patients with serious diseases. I'm assuming you were in a coma or something. Ellis: Why was I locked in? Myda: Oh, the doctors must have done that to make sure no one would come into your room unprecedentedly. Ellis: Okay. Why were you here then? Myda: I have a part time job here. I make sure none of the patients with dementia get out.
Ellis: Well, uh. I hope this won't bother you or anything but I just need to clarify this. Uh. What's your gender? Myda: What? Ellis: You know. Myda: OHHHHHH. Oh. Hm. What's YOUR gender? Ellis: Uh... Male. Myda: I'm a male then. Maybe. For now. Ellis: Okay, thanks.
Aaaa sorry for the drop in length and quality. For now it's going to be kind of actionless until we get to the good stuff. By the way, Myda doesn't really have a set gender, and usually just fluctuates between different ones. For now, he'll be "male" but he might change his mind later.
As for all the formatting errors, I'm sorry! I'm still getting used to Omegaupdate, everything's so wonky compared to MSPAForums. ;; I hope you put up with the drop in quality for now. I'll try to make up for it later.
Ellis: What's in this room? It seems rather... odd looking compared to the others. And what's this colorful stuff? Myda: What? Oh, Room 101? Yeaaahhh... One of the kids with dementia's in there. She has to get her blood taken every day. Sadly, the kid doesn't like needles, so the docs have to use force. She tried to get out of their grasp and her blood kind of... got everywhere. Also, what do you mean by colorful? Ellis: Uh. Well, it just seems... different. Myda: Man, you really are sick. Do you want me to get the doctors? Ellis: No. I'm fine.
Ellis gets a bit closer to the door. He can hear quiet sobbing from the inside. The voice sounds high pitched and strained, and definitely belonged to someone much younger than him.
Then, Ellis goes over to Room 100. He then tries to open the door, but then he realizes the door is painted on. He looks at Myda with confusion and he snickers.
Myda: Yeah, that door is kind of an inside joke with the staff here. People always send the newbies to check on Room 100 and then they come over with the most determined face. Then their face sinks when they realize it's a fake door. Then I squirt them with a water gun. Fun times!
Ellis: This place seems sort of decrepit. Why do you still stay here? Do they pay you a lot? Myda: Oh, now you're asking about my salary? Kids just get ruder and ruder. Yeah, I get payed a lot. And the service is good here, despite it's look. Now, we should get going. Now.
