You have entered "Text Adventure," a story about stories on and around places on the planet Earth, deadly creatures, intriguing mysteries, teen drama, and a planet that doesn't get destroyed. Maybe.
Let's get started, shall we?
- - - -
You stand in the center of your bedroom, unannounced. Are you a boy or a girl? What do you look like?
You look at your surroundings to decide who you want to be.
Your bedroom is small, but not cramped. It's very cozy, though your parents never understood why you chose to sleep in such a room. There are three windows, one per wall that doesn't have a door, each with frosted glass from the semi-heavy snow coming down outside. If you were facing the room from the door, your bed would be in the top left corner, a lovely large mattress with a few lovingly made quilts from your grandmother, and a comforter patterned with a bolt-like design. On the right wall there's your wardrobe, which has a variety of outfits, many of which have the color scheme of red and white. To the left of that lies your small desk and/or worktable, which houses your desktop computer, some tools, and a stand-up holiday calendar. Your welding helmet is laying on your desktop, forgotten from a few days ago. A few pipes come pop out of the wall here and there near the back corners of the room, but they never bust or anything. You find the noises they make comforting to sleep with.
You have a lovely shag carpet, which you enjoy walking on. In the center of the room, acting as a bedside table, is a short bookcase with a small lamp on it, as well as a white piggy bank and small alarm clock. The books you read or mostly fantasy, but include machinery design and gadget magazines as well. You have a few more in your personal studio somewhere else in the house, which can be accessed freely. Laying next to your bookcase, you notice, are ten golden rings, a popular fashion staple you wear to school. You must have dropped them earlier, you wonder. Above the bookshelf is a shelf with a few model homes that you've made from various materials as mini's, and enjoy using when you study architecture from time to time.
Some multicolored lights dangle across the windows, giving your room the vibe you were looking for. On your walls, you have posters from the Iron Man movie series (only the first two, those were the only good ones after all), Scooby Doo and the Goblin King, and the Harry Potter franchise. Luckily enough, you also have a special wand you got when your family visited Orlando about a year ago, which is located on top of your wardrobe to keep it safe.
The wind howls outside, and you still haven't decided exactly who you are yet?
What's your name? What do you look like? What are you wearing?
Let's get started, shall we?
