(( I wanted to get Speeder's info out anyways because him having human shit inside him wasn't even supposed to be some kind of spoiler. I even talked about it when Kanny scanned him but nobody really cared. What I refuse to talk about is anything pertaining to the logs. Speeder is a 'bridge' or shortcut to the REAL character I have planned, the second one I talked about, as they would be impossible to introduce in the present situation we are in. ))

Rose smirks. A classic situations was unfolding in front of her. He didn't trust her, and she didn't trust him. She wasn't going to bail on the group because of trust issues though. No, there's always mistrust. And Rose did not feel like living alone any longer just because of mistrust. So she decided to be upfront with the boy.
"Look, Kanzer," she starts, "I like your spirit, but we both know we don't trust each other." Rose smiles at him, "I'll talk when I feel comfortable to talk. Like, buy me a couple drinks and get to know me first."

"As if that would happen.", Kanny replied bluntly. "You know what, shut up for all I care. I don't give a meat about whether you're a demon or a human or some kind of midorite-infested tree that somehow managed to talk. You're nothing to me, unless you can get me out of this world."
After a second, he added with a grin, looking at her straight in the eyes:
"But if you happen to know the way out, be sure I'd do waaaay more than just buy you a drink."
Those contradictory statements seemed to keep her quiet for a moment. It was so easy. They reached the house after a short ride. Kanny got down from Steady, petting its snout to reassure it. True that there were others like it, but for the time being, this one was his'. It would help him expand his territory, carry things ("Saddlebags.") and probably hunt, so he'd better care for it. He let it walk away towards the river, to quench its thirst. That reminded him that he hadn't eaten for a while except for a couple peaches. He'd need to care for that too: starving his team to death wouldn't bring them anywhere.
"So. That problem's taken care of.", he nonchalantly said to Arayzeo and Jason, who were still around watching Peachy and Speeder have their weird tentacle interactions. "Did I miss anything?"
"Not much.", Jason replied, yawning. "They've been like that for a while now."
The blue-text guy then set his eyes on Rose, and wore a wannabe-seducing face.
"Hey there."
Kanny rolled his eyes, and took the piece of metal from his pocket. It was silvery, about half a meter in length and quite sturdy, even though it was like butter when cut by a cancrine blade. Didn't seem to be dangerous to the touch. He ran a fiery finger over it, and the metal softened a little on the surface.
"Hey, Peachy.", he called. "Need some scraps? Can get you a dozen of those if you help me zap some bushtigers."

Arayzeo stepped up. "Speeder does seem to be saying things on its own - I think as part of its communications with the Peachy Sphere. Said something about organic material being used to maintain itself? Just thought that information was a bit... surprising. I'm not sure what exactly it means though, if it meant as a power source, or to clean itself, or if it has... um. Organic parts." The adlet shivered uncomfortably at the idea.
"Anyway... did you find out what caused the sound?"

"Yeah. It was a baby steadrel."
Should he tell the others about how this trap had started to infest the animal with midorite? Should he warn the others about the dangers of the green stuff? Should he try to save them from this potential menace? He'd need to make sure those people were safe. He didn't want to be all alone in the middle of an unknown land, and would need help to get home. But deep down, he still wanted to see the true potential of this green poison.
"A bushtiger was attacking it. I killed it and the baby ran away. But I couldn't bring its corpse back, too heavy."
He sat down, took his penknife, and started rubbing its blade with some of the poisonous leaves he had picked earlier. They had a dark-tinted sap that smelled somewhat like unripe tomatoes. A coat of magic varnish later, he had a good poisoned knife. He'd slowly assimilate the poison leftovers on his hands and grow a resistance to it, so there was no need to wash that. He'd need to work with Peachy's purple substance too. It could be a potent antidote.

((what are we waiting for exactly))
"Kanny to Peaches, anyone there?"
Kanny poked the peachball with the metal rod, but it hovered out of reach again, in that annoying manner. He sighed, and attempted to hit Peachy with it, but a sudden movement approach from Arayzeo made him stop. Yeah, wasn't that much of a good idea.
"Alright. Maybe once you learn to speak, you'll finally have the decency to answer.
He put down the rod, leaned against the wall, and negligently read at his notebook, sighing away. Maybe there was something in it about the uses of midorite, this green stuff with weird patterns. Kanny's magical diary had countless pages in it, and yet from the outside looked like any pocket notebook you'd win at a funfair. It was one of the few items he had inherited from his father, and the key to many secret worlds and pocket dimensions. He had always relied on it, like a child to their favorite stuffed animal. Of course, he didn't find much besides his own notes. There was nothing about green rocks or purple fluids or peach-altering balls or robot dogs or scarecrows. Nothing. Of course, this problem was very recent, but he had hoped he could use some of his parents' experiences, recorded into this notebook, to help him. Machinally, he went to the very last page, where little blue threads were sewn into the paper. He tried to pull on one of them, to open a portal, but he couldn't. He hadn't got the ability to cross between worlds, to knit pieces of the worldbarrier veil, and as such was stuck here. In a world he didn't recognize, with people he didn't know, faced with problems he couldn't solve. Kanny clenched his fist. He was frustrated, scared, lost. He wanted to go home, but he couldn't. He wanted to escape, to find a way back into his isolated little world, away from all of that, but he couldn't. He snarled out of anger, and picked the green rock from his pocket. This thing was the cause of all his problems, all his troubles! This was the one thing to blame! Kanny had enough. Without second thought but with rage, he threw it into the hearth's fire, where it crashed against a burning log. He wanted to cry, but his eyes couldn't anymore.

Speeder seemed to twitch slightly, however, it's monitor flashing red for a moment. "ERROR, SKIPPING ALL LOGS UP TO PENULTIMATE LOG" A number starting from 4, which was the log they were at, started zooming rapidly to a very large number. "PLAYING PENULTIMATE LOG"
It was very dark. However, a flashlight apparently somewhere either behind or on the side of Speeder who was recording shone on, revealing a forest and... Angela, apparently. Angela wasn't looking so pretty; her hair was messed up, she had dark rings on her eyes, and her throat had a very large scar. Her clothes were loosened, scratched, dirty, and stained with something red. She wasn't wearing her ordinary 'magician's outfit'. She was wearing a simple t-shirt: Bisected into a red and blue section, the blue section had stars in it, whereas the red section had white stripes. It was quite long and covered her legs, so she wasn't quite wearing pants. She stared at the dog's camera with a deranged smile. Some sort of mechanical device was on her arm, with had a speaker and several... painful looking things connected to her arm. Above the speaker, there was a wide but not tall monitor with scrolling text. "NERVE CONNECTIONS STABLE", "CHANCE OF NERVE CONNECTION SEVERANCE: 10%", "WELCOME TO LUNATIC HELL!", "BLOOD NON-CONTAMINATED", "AMOUNTS OF GREEN: STRUCTURE IN AREA: 15", "MASTER NEARBY?: YES!"
The mechanical device spoke up, with a cackling, rusty female voice, but was less rudimentary than Speeder's voice. "Aw, you found me. Guess I'll have to answer any questions about this land you have." Angela's deranged smile only grew, looking at the dog with some sort of expectant look, but suddenly her eyes flashed red as a VERY LARGE skeletal robotic figure could be seen stomping around and soon went out of camera again. "They can't talk to us through the dog? Awww... I suppose that kind of time travel just isn't available yet." She looked disappointed. Very disappointed. Her smile soon drooped to a sarcastic, joking frown. "I guess I have to come up with the questions on my own. You silly peeps probably wanna know what this place is"
The device laughed. The device laughed, a lot. A lot. A lot. A lot. A lot. "It is... freedom. OUT THERE! ...we're forced to obey. Obey the rules, the police, the government, God, whatever dumb authority figure you have. That doesn't matter here, it doesn't matter ANYWHERE here at all! You're free to do anything! Anything anything anything!" Well, those weren't very good signs of sanity. Or anything, really. "You can play with others. You can hug them and love them and kiss them until they go to sleep forever"
"But... you wanna know about the terrain, don't you?" Angela's eyes flashed purple, in which she suddenly became very angry. "It DOESN'T MATTER. THere's just a dumb desert, a bunch of shitty trees and some mountains! What matters is the true significance of this place. You're all here for a reason... you're all here because you've sinned. Oh, oh no, this isn't Hell. Like I said, this is freedom. Does a way out even matter anymore? Who cares about the robots or those... horned... people." The mechanical device spoke, in a dismissive nature. It was quite obvious that mechanical device was a means for Angela to speak, since that... very... large throat scar seems to have resulted from something that wouldn't leave a person talking very well.
"Rusty taught me that. He's my only friend. Those two who I made sleep... they really weren't, after all. They hated me. But Rusty loves me." Angela looked down with a genuinely sad look, but soon jostled her head upwards to stare at the dog in neckbreaking speed.
"I bet you want to know about the Factory. And the horned people. I'll tell you about them, but that's the only thing I'll tell you" The device sighed. "The factory is a weird place. It gave me a lump on my throat. Then I had to tear it out. And cleanse. Cleanse a lot, until the skin was seared and it was purged. Oh, but that's where Dog and Rusty came from. It has lights inside. It's a funny place. I don't know what else comes from there. The horned people are bad. They like to hug your head and give you a headache. And one of them hurt Rusty really really bad. But we can't find her, even if we want to kill her. Avoid both of those. And the mansion, near the mountains. It's a bad place. They speak all weird, too, and it gives me more headaches.
Either way... I don't quite want to keep talking. It's boring. So let me just turn this oooff!" The device playfully said, before the log stopped.
The dog twitched for a bit, before regaining it's usual composure. It did not ask to play the next log. It simply remained in place. Humming.

Jason had looked at the dog with curiosity the first second it had started erroring. When Speeder had shown its log, he had watched with a mix of awe and incomprehension. The sight of the mutilated Angela, this creepy robot on her arm, and the overall tone of fear and danger that came to his mind... He couldn't know what to think of it. He didn't know how to feel about it. He didn't know anything. Once the dog stopped, Jason glanced at Kanny. The humanoid still was buried in his weird notebook, but Jason knew he had heard everything. He was scribbling something, or maybe sketching. But after a moment, he closed the pages, and stared back at Jason. Boy, his eyes sure were weird.
"We have to go there."
A second passed, during which no one spoke. But then, Jason stood up, and tried to speak his mind.
"Wait. Go there? Right now?"
"Yes."
Kanny started to rummage through his pockets, looking at his notebook, scanning the room around them. He pulled a couple weird-shaped items out of his notebook (how on earth...?), stored in some others, sketching things, and so on for a minute, after which he stormed out of the house. In a heartbeat, Jason followed him. Outside, Kanny was meddling with Steady, the tamed squirrel. He was trying to make it wear what looked like a badly-shaped saddle, obviously drawn by someone who couldn't draw.
"Can you tell me what you're doing?", Jason asked, frustrated. "You can't just leave like that."
"What tells me I can't?"
Kanny turned around, facing the man. He had a grim serious expression, as if he would not step back on his decision. What in the log could have made him so resolved? What did he intend to do? Why would he want to find whatever Angela had talked about? What even was his goal?
"Kanny.", Jason called. "We are a team, remember? You can't just go around and do your own thing. We need to stay together if we want to survive in this land."
"I don't care about survival! Don't you get it?"
He gestured to everything around them. The plains, the trees, the house, the nearby stream.
"This place...it's not natural. There's something wrong with it. Something that tells me to get out, as fast as I can. It's a trap, I'm sure of it. It will kill us if we stay in there."
He readjusted the harness on Steady's back, and got on his steed.
"This girl...she had talked about a factory of some kind. And believe me or not, but I believe I should try and find it."
"Why for?", Jason asked, his patience starting to wane. "Why would you care about a factory in the middle of nowhere? Are you really going to roam the land until you find some place that may not even exist?"
Kanny didn't answer. Jason wanted to seriously grab him and maybe give him a good slap in the face, but he managed to stay calm. After all, some people had weird reactions when facing something they didn't understand. Kanny was selfish, true; but he was most likely scared. Jason couldn't blame him, as himself was starting to get homesick.
"I know you feel trapped. I know you're scared. But we all are. We all want to go home, just like you."
He looked around. Arayzeo, Rose and Henry were out of the house, looking at their chat with various expressions. What an odd team they were...
"We'll do it together. We needn't rush."
Kanny stayed silent, his eyes looking away, ears slightly down. A slight breeze was blowing around, whistling in the trees and stroking the grass. The distant cries of animals would come to them every now and then, as well as the sound of running water. Steady's breathing was gently pulsing under its rider's hands, and its tail was negligently wagging from side to side, like a cloud of blue fur.
"Alright."
Kanny got down his steed, and sighed. For that he now had a chance to go home, he wouldn't let it slip away. Even if he had to follow the clues of a girl long since dead, he would find the factory she had talked about. Maybe it had a link to the Factory, to his home. He would find out. He had to find out.
"Speeder. Come over, would you."
At the call of its name, the mecha dog stepped forward. Kanny knelt to its level, careful to stay at a reasonable distance not to suffer from the antimagical radiations. With such a machine, he had to choose his wording.
"Speeder. Give me the recording date of the last log you played. And if you can, give me the coordinates of the location where said log was recorded."
While the dog was doing its thing, Kanny glanced up at Jason. The man returned a complice smile, to which Kanny replied with a wary look. This "teamwork" thing better bring him something.

Somewhere, a pool of blue slime creeps around. It looks at its surroundings. It notices a decaying leaf and absorbs it, turning slightly brown for a moment. It slinks around for a bit, before calling out in Welsh. "Unrhyw un yno!?"

(( Can I have a bit of a recap? I might join this today )) (13 days later and I'm going to ask this question myself because I'm liking this, but depending on wheter I understood the story right, a full recap might not be necessary. So what I've got about the story is pretty much this: we are in a Strange Land of Freedom and we've been transported there for some reason which we've just recently discovered might be connected to our sins somehow. This Strange Land is very big, has got weird animals and plants which are slightly different from Earth's ones and some of them might be poisonous. So there's two main kinds of magic materials: nameless purple stuff, and green stuff called midorite which causes slight mindfucking/flashbacks when touched and partly fucks up/interferes with other kinds of magic somehow and there's ruins made out of it? Also we now have a sort of 'base' in the forest/jungle and we are: one weird purplegreen magic cloud robot sphere, one very disturbed half merfolk thing that's mostly human and tamed a purple squirrel pony, one asbestos organic dog with purplegreen stuff and organic on the inside that has recordings from previous prisoners of the Strange Land of Freedom, one mild-mannered furry canine humanoid, one relatively well adjusted dude with Native American blood, and one stone cold li'l blonde girl. Did I get everything right? Is there anything I'm forgetting?) EDIT-(Oh and we also have one adorable blue Welsh-speaking slime that joined not too long ago and hasn't interacted with the others yet but seems adorable, yay!)

They're the characters of people who've joined in but did not come back. If the authors decide to definitely give upbon their characters, it'll be legally possible to control them. If you would accept to control a character you didn't make (and make it yours totally, no one would notice), it would be really nice. You'd get to join the story right now.))

STOP.ing current topic. Thank You For Communication.
Peachy, having followed above Speeder, still attached, suddenly disconnected its cord from Speeder and fully retracts. It then extends its cord again, and wraps a cord around an unattended fruit that had already been purple-ized. This wrapping was more than just lifting, it fully covered the fruit from every direction. The cord then began to slightly glow purple as well as somehow glow black while retracting the fully encased fruit back to Peachy. The result was an odd tinting to objects near the almost tumor like new addition to Peachy's exterior. Next, Peachy acquired with a cord using normal grasping, a single plank, and is also holding it to his surface. Finally, Peachy flew back to the main group, and began orbiting above them, occasionally firing bolts of energy upwards towards the sky.

((Alright. As far as I know none of the Frozen's 'owners' have given their character up except for forestGardener giving up Jason to Carmine, and probably I wouldn't have much fun playing characters I know so little about anyway, except maybe Willy Boeman, who seems showy enough to provide me with something to work with. If you're still accepting extreme oddball characters, like the slime and Peachy, I could submit one of those. Otherwise, I believe I'll wait until next area/arc to join, maybe even start an RP of my own in the meantime. Thanks for the help, everyone! ))
