Signal Loss.A fan adventure by SilentlyVocal.
MSPF MIRROR.
As another day comes to a close, you do as you do most days and retreat to your room. Most would be inclined to say that it is a little bare-bones, but you don't really care much, it's home. Your television is on, like it always is at night, but for some reason tonight it shows heavy amounts of static. You would try to fix the television, but sadly, you are no expert - it would probably be impossible for you to do it alone. That being said, what will you do?

> Kick the TV. Because everyone knows that's how you fix an unresponsive television.

> Try flipping through the channels. Maybe you'll have a stronger signal for something else. You flip through some channels and it appears that one is functioning correctly, at the moment. It's the Smile channel. This channel always kinda creeped you out, but once you started watching, you could hardly ever stop. The Smile channel appears to land somewhere between channels 175 and 176 on your channel guide brochure, but is never formally listed anywhere. Though you'd never tell anyone about this, sometimes it scares you - especially when you're flipping channels and it's not there anymore.
You wonder if you should continue to watch it.

> See if you can beat that guy in a staring contest. You stare deeply into the smiling man's face and attempt to have a staring contest. Unfortunately, the dark room coupled with your rather small eyes makes for a difficult match. The smiling man isn't giving in, and you're only about ten seconds into it before you blink.
You feel as though you've been doing something wrong. Like you've been mocking forces of nature that are beyond your understanding. But surely you're just imagining such ridiculous things, right?
Still though, you wonder if you really should leave this channel on.

You reach behind the television to unplug it, when suddenly...
You realize the television was already unplugged. If it weren't for how scary that thought is, you'd have to admit it's a little cliche.

Check cellphone, or pester a friend on a computer -> Maybe a friend of yours can troubleshoot such an odd electro-mechanical phenomenon . . .
