Tired of his dad's uptightness and expectations, he ran away from home after a violent argument, to live on his own. He became somewhat of a vagabond, his web being his only home for a long time. He lived his life making money from shady schemes, seducing people to get what he wanted and scaring away those whom he didn't like. Short-term goals: Having fun and wrecking stuff, finding a mate, making sure to store enough food for the winter Long-term goals: Reuniting with his father and telling him he's sorry, be a family again, stop running away from his duties ayyy

Shit
So uh, when I was getting ready to post chapter 1, I realized there was a plot hole with the story I came up with, so I had to go back and rewrite most of it.
ETA, two more days, at the most

Alright. Hope you know what you're doing. Given the others didn't give up. But if they did, what will happen of their charas?

The party will suffer either way. And if we don't have enough members at one point? Will we recruit other players?

Your definition of "two more days" is a little off.
It's fine, though. Most of us are busy with other things; plus, it's not like if RPs didn't die. (Rip Strange Land)

Alright, no more procrastinating, this is gonna happen, I swear We totally trust you. Au pire, just give it to someone else. I could've started this back in September, but since I don't learn from my mistakes, this was postponed until I finished drawing some throwaway joke panels If I don't start this on Wednesday, then the role of GM is up for grabs

The Settings
In a peaceful world of fantasy and magic once stood a powerful kingdom, ruled over by a potent dynasty of fairies. By using their powers to do good around them, they have created a haven of peace and happiness, in which everyone could have a better life. People have come in from all sides of the world, turning Synnechora into a cosmopolite nation. Science, magic, technology have prospered, and without a doubt this kingdom would become the most powerful nation of the continent. However, that didn't please the nearby country, the United Starjack Kingdom. Angered by the rise of Synnechora, Starjack's ruler King Perile has decided to overthrow it. But as a full-frontal assault would be suicide, he decided to start by creating an army of advanced cybernetic soldiers to melt into the Synnechorian population and stand his first ground. These soldiers are programmed to follow King Perile's orders no matter what. They're skilled fighters and have various camouflage abilities, including the possibility to disguise themselves as humans or anthropomorphic creatures. They work in ranks; for the first assault wave, four cybernetic generals have been created to lead the minions. No one in Synnechora was aware of the threat, save for Queen Fawkes's spies. To not alarm the population, she decided to retaliate by creating her own army of rangers. The problem is, Synnechora doesn't have an army, and no one possesses the required fight abilities to fight off the Starjackian threat. That's where you come in. The StoryYou've just been recruited into the Rangers. For whatever reason or motives, you've decided you wanted to do this. You meet your future teammates: not the best fighters in the bunch, but at least they've got potential. You've been given a weapon. This weapon, named the 'Die', can take the shape and form you want. It will allow you to take action, perform checks, and attack or defend. But its effectiveness will largely depend on your own abilities. You've also been briefed on how to use it. Attack Maneuver: (Vitiate Stat * 10-points roll + Luck Stat)/2 = Damage Damage - (Enemy Flinch Stat/2) + Bonuses = Final Damage Enemy HP - Final Damage
E.g: Zerkan (30 HP) vs Lesser Cyber (25 HP) (7 * 9 + 3)/2 = 33 33 - (6/2) = 30 25 - 30 = Lesser Cyber has fainted. Defense Maneuver:Enemy Damage is calculated on a 20-points roll Enemy Damage - (Flinch Stat + Speed Stat)/2 = Final Damage Your HP - Final Damage
E.g: Zerkan (30 HP) vs Lesser Cyber (25 HP) 16 - (2 + 6)/2 = 16 - 4 = 14 30 - 14 = Zerkan (16/30 HP) Checks: Perception: Check for your surroundings, detect nearby traps and enemies, find your way. Requires Sleuthing. Persuasion: Talk an enemy out of a fight, get information, barter items. Requires Charisma. Solving: Solve an enemy puzzle or create one to confuse your enemies. Requires Noodle Length. Evolution: Learn new moves and attacks. Requires Aptitude. Random: You've found a penny on the ground. Maybe even a four-leaf clover. Or the entrance to a cave. Who knows. Requires Luck.
(20-points roll + required Stat)/2 = Success Rate out of 20
E.g Random Check; Luck. (5 + 3)/2 = SR of 4
"You look at your feet and find a piece of biscuit that doesn't look too moldy. Munch."
Checks can only be used once a turn. You then join your new teammates into the First Squadron of the Synnechorian Rangers. Little do you know, it's the start of a great adventure. A story of friendship, fight, and freedom. This is... ( Sharkalien venchi balancesong Neptz PlatinumUmbreon Drakeon SpottedBlades , you know what to do.)

Looking good! Are we going to go into specifics about what each class gets / the differences between each class? Orrr... are we not using classes? ovo Unless the classes give clear numeric stat bonuses, they won't be really needed. They can have special interactions, it depends. (OOC: So, how will we kick this RP off?) Doing forum-based turn-by-turn is quite annoying, so if we had a Discord or a convenient way to play, it'd be nice. The game is turn-based. It'll play the way I imagine DnDs are played. For each prompt made by the GM, players will each have one turn before next round. Then, move on to the next part and so on. If a player's character has fainted, the player can still take part in actions but not in fight. Fights are set in RPG style. Each player selects a target and calculate their d amage, then when the players' turn ends the combined damage are deducted from the enemies' health. If they still stand, they attack, and so on.At each prompt, a dice will roll to determine whether there's an enemy encounter, an event or nothing special. The game's goal is to stop the four cyber generals and find a way to King Perile, which will be a huge boss battle. I've planned for an EXP system that can allow players to upgrade their stats, but i don't know how to pull it off.

Is it too late to join in? We already have our characters designed. Unless someone explicitly drops off, we can't accept in new players. Also, I've set up a Discord. I've found a dice Bot, and could use some people over. discord.gg/Gq7FMhQ
