Are you planning on recreating all the subforums as they were on the MSPA Forums, or are you just going to create them as needed (i.e. people ask for them)? I'm not sure what the best way to go about it is.

I'm for the second option. Let's not clutter this place up more that required.

I'm for the second option. Let's not clutter this place up more that required. Agreed. While this is a refuge for displaced fora folk, that doesn't mean it has to be recreated along the same lines. This isn't an official thing, you know? There's no reason why it can't grown on its own. ESPECIALLY if it ends up that the fora really are dead.

That's pretty much in line with my opinion on the subject. Glad to see it's not controversial.

Agreed. Supply what is in demand.

Well, we've got Comic Discussion, General Discussion, and Forum Adventures, that seems to be enough for now. I know the other forums had an art forum, but there are so many other places to post art, and no one has really asked for one here yet, so unless the other forums are gone for good, then we don't really need everything.

Yep, I'm in line with all opinions here.
If you guys have need for more (like, Fan Projects or Artbound), then I'd gladly create them, but as long as nobody is requesting them I'm not creating them yet.
Even though nobody requested this "Forum Questions and Answers" forum, I did create this one because I figured it would come in handy anyway (and hey, it did already!)

Unless talking about video games and movies and webcomics and stuff should go in the general forum, that's where the aching MSPA forum shaped hole in my MSPA forum shaped heart is.

I made a "general media thread" in the general section... that should cover it for now, I think.

Is there a place to put non-adventure stories, specifically Homestuck-related ones? I've decided to do a pretty big reboot of something I tried a year ago or so, and would like a place to put it where I can get comments and criticisms from people who I don't know\specifically ask.

You mean like fanfiction? Just making an MSPA Fanfic Thread or something in the MSPA Discussion section should be good enough for now.

Technically? i meant something a little more focused, though it is certainly a fanfic. I suppose I'm asking as I have no-where else to host it, and I suspect that a general Fanfic thread would be mostly for linking to works elsewhere that people may not have seen, especially with the main forums down. Though, as a similar but seperate question, would it be ok for me to make a thread in the General Discussion forum for my work, or should I simply attempt to publish it elsewhere and link back? Or, would simply spoilering each part be acceptable for now?

Well, I'm not a mod or anything, so I'm just offering suggestions. I'm just thinking if we made a whole fan works subforum, it might not get that much use.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of non-adventure story you mean, but on the MSPA Forums we had an "Artbound" subforum for everything that was not a Forum Adventure nor really a Fan Project. Seeing as the forum keeps on growing and there is still no indication of the MSPA Forums returning, I think it doesn't hurt if I recreate the Artbound subforum now. So, please go ahead and post your story over here!

I'll be working on a "first piece" for my creative writing course that will be something of a "pilot episode" for the story. Will be putting up the first draft sometime around this weekend (hopefully,) so thanks for the help!

Could I possibly request a Fan Projects subforum? I ran a Pokemon hack project, Sburbmon, on the old forums and I was hoping to regroup here if possible.

A suggestion: move Fan Projects to its own forum next to MSPA Discussion and Fan Adventures. It feels kinda hidden away as a subforum? Any opposing opinions?

Sure, if people prefer that I could definitely make it separate! The only reason I put it as a subforum was because the MSPA Forums did it that way as well.
