Seeing as there's been an increased influx of misplaced threads, I've decided to take it upon myself to remedy the situation. If you're posting a forum/fan adventure that accepts commands, post in The CradleIf you're posting a web comic that does NOT take commands, post in Creative Works (Artbound)Or if you just want to advertise it, please post in the " new adventure advert thread" The Fan Projects board is really more for, well, fan projects, like games or apps or getting a bunch of fans together to help make something.

Is there a way to move them or how does that work?

Is there a way to move them or how does that work? Only moderators can move threads and posts, but I'd prefer it if I didn't have to. I just want people to post in the right places, is all. If they're still unsure, they could always ask

We currently have the thread for Act Omega in the Cradle, because it's hosted on MSPFA, but after reading your post on where things should go, I'm not sure it belongs there. It doesn't accept reader commands, which might mean it should go in Artbound. However, it's also a large-scale fan project, and we're always looking for more people to contribute, so it might belong in Fan Projects instead. Where do you think it should go?

You could always put a spoiler in the opening post asking for contributors (or link to this thread. I just remembered it existed)

I was working on a Sburb adventure with someone on the original MPSA forums. We only talked in the forum, so I lost track of them. I know that it is a long shot, but I was hoping that I could reconnect with them so we could start working on the adventure again. A less preferable, and more likely option would be to get a new artist for the adventure. Where would I make the thread(s) to do this?

Fan Projects seems like a good bet for enlisting the help of people. And if you're dead set on trying to reconnect with that user you spoke of, you could try asking around in the General Discussion board, though I'm not sure how much luck you'll have with that. What was their username, if you don't mind me asking?

I do not remember, which further complicates things. Thanks for the help.

By any chance, does this include a Fan-fiction? Is it classified as a project, or a web comic (despite not really being a web comic). And just to be clear, the post/ thread i was going to make is to ask for someones help in creating images for said piece of fiction, which would be located on A03. (A good example of this would be the work that inspired mine, 'Growing Up Troll', but with a different idea.) In advance, Thanks for the help.

I'm writing up a bunch of stuff for an AU that I mostly intend to use as an RP background. Where should I post this?

If you ever plan on having your RP on the forums, remember to include that AU in the Roleplay board. If your RP is somewhere offsite and you only want to share your AU here, then Creative Works.

this is more of a clarification question than anything else but the fan projects page is for projects involving Hussie's homestuck canon right? i can't just post a project about my new steven universe AU there right? (not that i have one, just for example)

(not that i have one, just for example) There's no shame in having a Steven Universe AU Fan Projects is for MSPA-related projects only, which include tangentially related fanventures. Let's say this hypothetical SU AU of yours is one where the Crystal Gems find a frog temple or whatever and through the power of shenanigans somehow manage to produce functioning game discs of Sburb. If you're looking for people to help bring this lifelong dream of yours to reality, then you can post it here.

What about a Tumblr project, like a Valentine exchange? It's not a fanventure but it's still Homestuck-themed event that I want to promote.
