>as it turns out you are in such an rpg and as such can't see the wall opposite the window. Go back to bed in sadness, you'll try again tomorrow. Realize you have cool magnet superpowers It appears that your shoulder is somehow eating your arm, young woman. >Check drawer for sweet loot Nothing much of note in here. Your spare uniform, still covered in plastic, a few toiletries, and, in the very back, a pack of cigarettes. You don't smoke (that would be unladylike), but they're a gift from a friend. Exit room, tottering about in a ladylike manner. Much better! You totter right out of your room in a way almost indistinguishable from a girlish sprint. A quick trip down the hallway, and you find yourself in the living room. This house isn't nearly as big as your old one, but you find it delightfully cozy all the same. You can exit back upstairs, or go down and out the front door and start your day... though how you'll do that without attracting your mother's attention, you are not sure.

Repel mother's attention using cool magnet powers >Take the fridge magnet, you love those >Remove a magnetic tile from the floor. Who knew that that one tile in particular was magnetically attached to the rest. YOU HATE MAGNETS SO MUCH. Your ire for them is well-documented; they are a force of CHAOS in an otherwise well-organized world. They attract things, and are attracted to things, just because they are metallic. That's just, just... SHALLOW. And they use poles, or something? And also they destroy electronics! But everyone seems to love them, ohhh, yes, your mother LOVES her little fridge magnets. Can't she just use tacks to keep up her darned shopping list? The nerve those devil-devices show by invading your home makes you sick to your stomach. >Attract mother's attention You try to put the thought of magnets out of your head, and pass the hated fridge without comment, even smiling at your mom. She gets the first word in, though. ... What.

>Pick ACCEPT. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day according to TV. >accept, you can't start the first day of the rest of your life if you starve to death before the day ends. For some reason, there's something wrong with the Accept button. You click around blankly, wishing there had been an actual fucking tutorial. The cards on the side slide out when you click on them. Clicking on one and the Accept button seems to work. The card disappears, only to be replaced by another. You could probably select any of the cards to use with any of the buttons on the left. The buttons have changed, too; nothing exciting, just Yes and No. You assume the yes is about how nervous Sam is, not whether you want toast, though with this weird game, you can never be sure. You block magnet-related thoughts from your mind. You've resisted them. For now.

>DOWN DOWN. >I mean, pick a card, any card! >And dig under the house. You click all over the empty boxes, but you can't find any hidden, more interesting commands. Stop resisting jokes of the electromagnetic nature They said there were magnets on this fridge. The game lied to you. You're not sure how much more of these psychological mind-games you can take before you snap and dunk this farce in the nearest garbage can. >Click the second winky face, then No That seems to get a reaction. You figure the character is probably eating breakfast, it's just not showing the breakfast in question, for literally no reason. Is this game even finished? Anyway, it looks like the cards have some effect on what's said, beyond just changing the color of the text a little bit. Looks like you have some more interesting options this time; some experimentation is in order. There's even a new card.

I consider this experiment a success, but I don't feel I have a firm enough grip on it to get anywhere fun for a long, boring time. Thanks for reading!
