It is most likely still running somewhere in the background. PC tends to do this sometime. Look into your task manager and see if you can find it. It is technically still running your profile somewhere

Any of you know how to make a quirk that alternates text color between lines? For instance: CC: REDCC: BLUE
And so on in similar fashion until the end of the pesterlog.I know I'm way too late for this one and I've never actually posted here, but I just made an account to say this is definitely possible just maybe not all that easy. If you want to set up something like this I highly recommend learning Python 2 and reading through the Pesterchum source code to determine which lines change your text color and which lines handle messages. Once you've done that it wouldn't be too hard to set up a custom quirk .py file that does this. Recently had to do something similar when setting up a custom quirk that converts integers to roman numerals - the default handling of quirks was too strict to allow it so I had to edit pyquirks.py If anyone wants to talk feel free to drop a hi over at lucidSleeper! |

Yes, I've been using it more often recently and noticed I haven't been able to connect since last night. No idea what's going on there but it seems to be happening for everyone.

hey i know it's 2019 and people don't really use this thing anymore, but i've been meaning to start this RP memo. the thing is i don't know how to use chanserv at all. i was wondering if there was someone out there that can just give me the basics on how to use it to get keyholder and an opening message? help would be much appreciated

well, i'll have to do this, i mean, i made an account basically for this comment, i can't freaking open the thing, i've tried everything i know, and it's...kinda nothing, so i might need help, it ran romally for a few days but it's always the same, it says my chumhandle is already in use, and when i close it, i can't open it again for like i month, at least that's the time it took for it to get normal again the first time, it has happened twice by now, i'm barely new to that thing and i feel bad if my friends think that i left pesterchum

i got a phat issue in that i can't use one of my handles?
whenever i try to login to pesterchum as my og chumhandle it takes me back to the screen to make/choose your handle and i'm not too sure why.
checking the userlist shows it still exists, so there's that.
even though i'm months and months late to this discussion and such, thanks to anyone who can help out :T

Oh, man.
I wasn't following this thread, and it's kind of been a good few years since I even opened pesterchum. I'm guessing it's seen a lot less usage over the years compared to back then. Still, it feels bittersweet to actually see the axe come down. I made most of my closest friends via pesterchum, and it wouldn't be an understatement to say that app resulted in major changes to my life.
