So umm I got the file but I don't know how to use it. Do need to open gimp to use it or Photoshop? No, it's a font. You're supposed to install it onto your computer. Double-click on it and press "Install." After you've installed it, you can now use it just like any other font in GIMP or Photoshop.

1. Is there an easy way to make and DOWNLOAD custom captcha cards? 2. Are there resources for the extra alchemy stuff? (punch card shunts, etc)

Submit an image and take a screenshot, I guess. 2. I wouldn't know. I use my own rips for the most part. There must be resources other people made of the alchemy items, though. If you can't find anything on Google, I offer my ripping abilities.

dangit i was trying to avoid dealing with the punch card calculator
Anyways, is it okay to accumulate large masses of sprites from multiple other people if they are okay with it?

I would assume so. What reason is there in uploading sprites if not to share with the World Wide Web? Some people do ask for credit, so look out for that.

dude i mean sprite requests I'd assume if you ask a different person every 3 or 4 days you could progress like that there are actually two reasons why I can't draw no drawing tablet, and it's hard to make good rooms.

Whoops. Pls be more specific!!!!!
Acquiring multiple sprites from multiple people seems inefficient for multiple reasons. Different people have varying response times. Where one person can get back to you in a day, another person could take one to two weeks. And then there's the task of finding all these people willing to do these requests. You don't really find them in spades nowadays.
There are ways around drawing without a tablet. Pixel art is like, the go-to for people stuck with computer mouses. Just point and click a few pixels. You could stitch together different images instead of drawing. It's one of the facets of MSPA's charm. Then there's gritting your teeth and drawing with a computer mouse. I know, I know, it's not ideal, but it's always an option.
And I'm not sure what kind of rooms you have in mind, but they're just. A bunch of straight lines.

obeast, in the future if you want to ask a question please make your own thread instead of using the thread of someone else.
Furthermore, this entire thread doesn't really have anything to do with the Omegaupdate forums so I'm moving it to the Creative Works subforum.

Should I ask for help at the Creative Works subforum instead of here than.

Pretty similar to the way you would make the 90's Design 101 book. You find a good carpet design on Google Images, import it into your scene, scale it down if it's too big, use the Perspective Tool, sharpen it a tad, and if you want to make it gray, go to Colors> Desaturate... For demonstrative purposes, I'll be using this Turkish carpet: It's important to make sure the sides of the carpet are parallel to the walls. Time to Filters> Enhance> Sharpen... this bad boy. I don't want the carpet to stand out too much, so I'll desaturate it. I got three options to choose from. Lightness looks the most muted, so I'll pick that. Bing bang boom, got myself a carpet:

So umm again i need help but it's with the text of the Strife Specibus. Like your "Keytarkind" what size is the text. It's still the Lucida Console Semi-Condensed font at size 10 px that's been scaled up by around 400%. Since this is for a strife specibus, you don't want to exceed over 12 characters or else you'll have trouble making the text fit when you resize it. That's why you don't see any kind abstrata that's more than twelve letters Let's say you're making a "2xgauntletkind" specibus. That's fourteen characters. You'll want to omit a couple letters, like "au". Shortening it to "2xgntletkind" would be perfect.

From his Formspring: "the spirograph in flash is a single curved line.
multiplied by 10, each rotated radially around the center.
then those 10 are copied, pasted, and flipped horizontally.
when i animate it, i only animate one line."So in Adobe Flash, he drew one line, converted it to a symbol, copied/pasted it a bunch of times, then converted the spirograph into another symbol. To animate the spirograph, all he had to do was modify just one line and add a shape tween. And I have no idea what angle they are at. An exact measurement probably wouldn't matter anyway. It's the same deal with carpet tutorial from before, just make sure the "sides" of the spirograph gate are parallel to the sides of the house's roof below it. EDIT: This is actually a really impressive and brilliant utilization of nested symbols on Hussie's part:

I used a SWF decompiler on that specific flash a while back and exported an FLA (Flash document) from it. Here's the file: sburbanbaby.fla (443.18 KB)

well then I think I have a hunch that they were made by recoloring places in Photoshop.
