well then I think I have a hunch that they were made by recoloring places in Photoshop. My best guess is that Hussie took some Italian cathedrals from Google Images and played around with blend modes in Photoshop, like you said. Hopefully I can recreate the same results. First thing I do is open up the image I'll be Derseifying in GIMP. I erase the sky and desaturate the layer by selecting Colors> Desaturate, then I go to Colors> Brightness-Contrast and make the image darker. I'll sample some colors from this panel because chances are these are the exact base colors Hussie uses to Photoshop Derse scenery. Open up two new layers and use the Bucket tool to fill them in with the sampled colors. (Oh, uh, disregard the fact that they're both called "fedora", that's from an earlier project.)See that " Mode" tab at the top right? Right above the layer opacity? Change the darker colored layer's mode to " Color". Now change the lighter layer's mode to " Dodge". After all that's said and done, Sharpen the cathedral, add some more towers in the background, make 'em darker, add a black sky, and alakazam, you've got a passable Derse panel:

Also, I'm not at a computer where I can test it right now, but, wouldn't the "Colorize" tool be enough? You know what, I think I'm gonna play around with this as soon as I get the chance.

The brightness kind of fluctuates in the comic: Colorize can work in a pinch: But it doesn't provide the same contrast. Which is also why sharpening is important. Though I kinda went ham with the amount of sharpening earlier

So umm Im making a flash animation and want to know how to upload a flash file on mspfa. Could you help Sure, but just so you know, you can't upload flash files onto MSPFA, only embed them. Currently, the most popular way of having a Flash animation in your adventure is to upload it to Dropbox and embed it into a page. Unfortunately, it looks like this method will soon become defunct on March 15th. I'll go ahead and tell you how to do it anyway because why not. 1. Register an account for Dropbox if you don't have one already. 2. Upload your published SWF file there. 3. Right-click on it and select "Share," then click on "Create a link." Now click on "Copy link." 4. Replace the "dl=0" portion that's at the very end of the link with "raw=1". Paste that link somewhere safe for the moment. 5. Copy and paste this code (retrieved from here) where you would normally write in the MSPFA page editor: 6. Replace both instances of "FLASH URL GOES HERE" with the Dropbox link you copied earlier. 7. Add your page and shazam, you've got yourself a Flash page!

So do you know what font is used for trollian? (also congrats sharkalien) Well, I don't know what font was used for the header, but I do know that the Arial font at 11 px is used for the chat text: Also, thanks! I'm not sure what you're congratulating me for, but thanks nonetheless!

If there is, I certainly couldn't find it. I had to recreate the damn thing. Shocking how big the image document had to be, too, like 5000x5000 pixels. Anyway, here's a PSD of my recreation of John's house. Sorry the tree doesn't have any leaves

That shouldn't be happening, unless you're downloading it by right-clicking on it and saving the image. Just to clarify, you are clicking on the "Download" button, right?

What would be the correct angle for a the pre punch card? 420° to the left If that doesn't work, employ the same methods used to make the 90s Design book, carpet, and spirograph gates.
