It's the Courier New Bold font at size 10. 12 if you want to label stuff:

The program I was using in those screenshots was GIMP. I think it should still work in MS Paint, though

The torrent might be faster to download, though. And thanks for reading!

You didn't change the font size, it's still at the default 18 px. Change it to 10

It's the Lucida Console Semi-Condensed font at size 10 that's scaled up by 200%. When you scale it up, make sure the Interpolation is set to None. That's very important. You'll also have to move some letters closer together afterwards

Barely related, but hooray! Another GIMP user!
Do you know how to make unfilled rectangles in GIMP?

Umm hello again so I'm wondering how you put text on a book like the colonel sassacer's or like you're 90's design 101 textbook. I cant really find the right angle.

Umm hello again so I'm wondering how you put text on a book like the colonel sassacer's or like you're 90's design 101 textbook. I cant really find the right angle. I make a design like this first: I then import it to a base template to use with the Perspective tool. It's a pretty large image, so I zoom out a bit and drag the corners closer to the canvas. Now I zoom in to get the corners just right. This is all just eyeballing, really, no standardized magic numbers you can enter. Hit Transform and you get this: It's kinda blurry now. You usually will want to sharpen images that have been transformed, so go to Filters> Enhance> Sharpen...45% looks good to me. Make sure the details stand out. Use the Color Picker (eyedropper) tool to select colors from the cover, use the Bucket Fill tool to fill in the transparent parts of the top book layer, and you're done!
