Why just pick one CLASS when you can have both?
Because of the rules of LETTER LOCKING, you can choose TWO CLASSES that start with the same letter.
This offers a weaker but more diversified set of CLASS ABILITIES.
These numbers are probably practically meaningless as anything other than a rough outline of your abilities.
Each class also provides a unique SPECIAL ABILITY.
The MOUNTEBANK class provides the ability PLACEBO, which allows you to use ingredients to create MEDICINES that may or may not cause various effects depending on your ingredients and target.
The MAGICIAN class provides the ability MAGIC, which allows you to learn spells. Currently, you only know BOLT. Whatever that is.
You also get two new items:
BASIC WAND - Used as a weapon to cast spells
EMPTY FLASK - Presumably created to store MEDICINES, but can probably hold other liquids as well.
Your CHARACTER SCREEN expands to make room for everything.

Since we're already on the PARTY screen, we might as well allocate MAKHTA's skill points (2) and assign his class* classes.
*Who am I kidding? You're obviously going to give him two as well.
