As much as I can't wait to hear songs from the next album, I feel like this is probably something we shouldn't really be spreading around because they're putting a lot of effort into Volume 10 and I'd hate to have that effort be less impactful from a music leak.
It's sort of too late though, judging from some other places.
Only one that isn't worth the money is Act 7, and that's because it's not that much different from the SITP version.
subjective, as you say. for me original overture always felt like it cut off without the ending, and extended version works well on that case
Like Act 7 itself!
Also, when I saw the music leak I FREAKED OUT seeing Penumbra Phantasm. As well as some others. I'm seriously going to listen to the whole leak. It's the most exciting thing ever; I was beginning to worry Penumbra Phantasm wouldn't be there.
Edit: I totally fell for the prank. It's a very elaborate one for sure, especially the fake Penumbra Phantasm.
We've been waiting for this for years, and now the time has finally come! The main Homestuck volumes have always had some the greatest music IMO, so whatever Volume 10 will be, it will be awesome.
I'm pretty curious what the album cover art will be.
Let's see... Volume 1-4 had the B1 Kids' symbols, Volume 5 had the B1 Kids themselves, Volume 6 had two of the B1 Kids again and Volume 7 had the others again, Volume 8 had none of them but showed all their planets, Volume 9 showed all B2 Kids...
I think what would make most sense is probably a picture of the B1 Kids again plus possibly the B2 Kids. Maybe a panel from when they're standing on the Lilypad platform, about to enter the door and/or watching Bilious Slick?
It's pretty notable that none of the Trolls have ever been on the cover art of a main Homestuck volume though. Perhaps that could now change if it's a picture of all survivors on the Lilypad Platform?

I hope at least some of the unreleased songs that were in A6I3 are on there. Even if they're bonus tracks that are only available if you buy the album. In fact, when it's released, I think I'll buy it right away before listening to it.
