I lost interest in my adventure pretty quickly so I'll be dropping out.

I don't think I can keep up with my adventure's ambitious requirements, so if it's okay I'd like to drop out, too.
If it's okay, I'd still like to do the FArt toll for the winner though.

I will also drop out of the contest. I've just not had the time to work on it.

The start date for the U4G contest was nearly a month ago, I'm afraid. You can still start an adventure with the prompt (Or wait and see if a second one appears)

When would be the best time to hold a second contest? December? That's when winter break starts, right
And are winter breaks still a thing

That's when winter break starts, right And are winter breaks still a thing They are still a thing, yes, but the time of year and length of it varies from school district to school district, at least here in the US. So December or maybe late November I guess would prolly be good? Depends on if we want the contest to start before or after the typical "break season".

I think starting after the holidays would be a good idea, since people will most likely want to spend their free time with loved ones instead of writing stories

Tomorrow, August 22nd, is the last day of the contest. After a three-day period of deliberation, a winner will be announced.
Prepare to make F-ARTs, losers contestants!

Yes. Drum roll, please ... ... ... ... It's a52 's " The Ontario Badgers' Adventures in the GHOST LEAGUE". Just kidding! It was a difficult decision, but the winner is actually (another drum roll, please) ... ... ... ... tentacleTherapist 's " Eightfold"! There were a ton of really great adventures, even if some were sadly cut short, but in the end there can only be one winner! And now for the prize! Everyone who participated in the contest must make the winner some f-art (fan art), or fan fiction if otherwise talented. The deadline for f-arts is September 30th. That's a reasonable amount of time, right?

Congratulations, ByzantineClairvoyant! Eightfold has definitely been a great lil adventure so far, and I hope you continue it after the contest. I wasn't a contestant, but I think I think I'll make some reward f-art anyway.

It's awesome that Eightfold won. I just love the art style. Dumb Question: Do we post our F-Arts here or...?

Question: Do we post our F-Arts here or...? Yeah, that's fine with me! Or you could post it in the F.A.R.T thread if you want

Fart for the winner: Edit: Wait, I offered fan art to every adventure that met the U4G contest requirements for judging. How many is that, shark?

Having realised I promised a 1-page comic to the winner too, I've posted it in the FArt thread. It's a little vague, but based off the idea in the comments that maybe Quincy is less protagonist than thought. EDIT: Here's a52's "The Ontario Badgers' Adventures in the GHOST LEAGUE" fanart
