Ok I'll list all the stuff I read. I have almost all of them on an RSS Reader so I'm usually caught up on all of them. - Order of the Stick: The BEST webcomic, simply put. Starts as D&D gad comic, becomes an epic tale that happens to be told in a D&D based universe. Long, thrilling and has great characterization. Also has plot plots that actually get resolved and long term planning. And some of the best villains I've ever seen. - Darths & Droids: Another RPG based webcomic, this one tells the story of all the Star Wars films as if they were RPG games. Funny most of the time and tends to pull epic plot twists every now and then, but not one of my favorites since you usually know what's about to happen. - Goblins: Yes, I like D&D webcomics. This starts similarly to OotS, then takes a much harsher turn towards epic and violent. Story is really great and so is characterization, but writing is sloppy at times and the pacing is slow. If you have patience it's worth it though, it's ridiculously epic. - Mokepon: Parody of Pokemon games, with a protagonist who doesn't care about Pokemon but is forced into it. Really funny and had some likable characters, and epic pokemon battles. - Rumplestiltskin: From the same author of Mokepon. This one isn't much a parody as it's the exactly same story but with much deeper characterization. The main character is kind of a bitch and the title villain is a complex character, for example. Recommended, but pacing is really slow. - Dr. McNinja: You guys know this one, comedy webcomic with cool action and a consistent plot, which likes to play with ridiculous things yet still write a story where they make sense. - xkcd: The best nerdy gag webcomic. - SMBC: Another great nerdy gag webcomic. Has a more "serious" tone than xkcd, which leads to some great jokes. - Lv. 30 Psychiatry: Videogame gag webcomic, about a pokemon (Gardevoir) who is a therapist for videogame characters. Most of the jokes are about Nintendo characters. Has a very slowly moving plot, but the gags are great. - Gunnerkrigg Court: Harry Potter-esque story that is more focused on mystery than adventure. Great plot and characterization, but don't expect much action. - Girl Genius: Adventure comic about a world that's ruled by mad scientists. Has a very complicated plot with millions of characters that moves somewhat slowly, but is really fun and has really likable characters, and top level worldbuilding. - Unsounded: A thief girl travels with her zombie sorcerer bodyguard. Then they get involved in a conspiracy involving kidnapping of children, experiments with magic and a war between two dictatorial countries. The level of detail in worldbuilding is unrivaled by any other comic I know. The story is kind of pessimistic but has likable characters who manage to survive through it. And the art is great. - Spinnerette: Super-hero comic about a silly girl with Spider-Man powers. Tends to play all the silliness from super-hero comic books very straight, but drops some heavily dramatic arcs every now and then. - Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi: Teenage version of PPG, with characters from basically every 90s and early 2000s Cartoon Netwok show. Has very cool action and a good plot, but the pacing has been glacial lately. - Grim Tales from Down Below: From the same atrist as the above one (but another writer). Set on a parallel universe, and focuses on Grim (from Billy & Mandy) who got maried with Mandy and now has two children (the protagonists of the story). Starts really epic, then moves on to more character-based stuff and the plot also gets glacial. But it's still decent if you read it in batches. - Neokosmos: MSPA like webcomic about kids who are stuck in a space station. Almost no plot yet but seems good so far. - Awaken: Another failry new webcomic which could be described as Divergent meets Attack on Titan meets Bleach. Typical shounen protagonist accidentally joins a revolution against the empre he lives in, and also unlocks some rad magical sword powers in the way. Plot is just starting but also seems good so far. Yes, I love webcomics. If you like Darths and Droids, try looking up DM of the rings. Same dudes, I think, and practically same thing except with LoTR I feel the need to bring up Friendship is Dragons, which is the same formula with My Little Pony.

Fifthing xkcd, it's so brilliantly clever. And I really like Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. As for MSPA-inspired comics, NEO-KOSMOS is pretty good. And who here has heard of Prequel? It started out as a fanventure back on the mspa forums before getting its own site. It's set in the Elder Scrolls universe, but you don't need to have played those games to understand it. I've been looking for PREQUEL for a LONG TIME! THANKS!

Yes, I love webcomics. If you like Darths and Droids, try looking up DM of the rings. Same dudes, I think, and practically same thing except with LoTR Eh... not sure. Darths and Droids isn't a webcomic I really love, a lot of the time it is a drag to read and I only stick around because the plot twists are really that good. Also some time ago I tried to read a similar comic based on One Piece, and I dropped after realizing it was exactly the same thing as D&D (like every player was a carbon copy of the D&D players). So I don't feel like reading more of those. I'd totally read other RPG based comics like OOTS and Goblins though, assuming they're good. I don't actually play RPGs, but those comics are just great.

I hate demon so much but I can't stop reading it. Shiga also made fleep and meanwhile which are still really great, meanwhile is a literal choose your own adventure book and i have a physical copy! i can't believe how many dull boring "rpg humor" dnd with the copyrights filed off fantasy comics were mentioned before vattu was. its a really well done fantasy story with a great, well-built world that's more than just the usual elves and orcs. it's pretty slow paced, designed much more for reading in book form than as a serial story, but I like that a lot as it feels a lot more disciplined than a lot of other webcomics out there. ive only read book 1 so far, as I'm waiting for the book two kickstarter to finish so I can get my physical copy. Nimona is also great. its been picked up by a publisher so you need to buy it to get it now, but it's a super fun comic. speaking of comics that are not up in full for free, I love crow cillers to death, I fucking hate the term 'metafiction' but if anything is deserving of the title this is it. It's really well made and doing things with narrative few webcomics dare to reach. also, theres lisa simpson. the new updates of crow cillers are patreon only, but you can read most of the first "season" now for free. its worth it. lamezone also has older stuff that's free and complete, like the immortal asscastle, but the newer stuff is better.

Now that we're on theme, I'd like to introduce my own interactive webcomic: blank (null) ["____()" to be edgy]. It has 80's and 90's inspiration, hacking, retro computers and puzzles themes (and in a future minigames and boss battles) It only has 5 pages introducing the main character, the first page is a hacking puzzle. I have not updated since December (It's still update 1) and I gotta get my ass to work on it. If you end up clicking that link and have a watch at it I just have to say: "Hope you like it".

Because he draws the PPG in a erotic way? I'm pretty sure it's just parodying the frequent pantyshots in dumb doujinshi. You're not really in the position to tell him what to do either. You may find it gross (I only checked it out a little, didn't like it) but there will be people who don't. People have control over their own lives.

I had no idea of that at all? I mean the comic does have ecchi but so does half of every manga in existance. The author of Naruto could be called a pedophile if you go by that criteria. Or is the guy an actual pedophile? It's not something that is announced in his site, y'know.

Japan's media sexualizes stuff (including teenagers, technically minors in most countries) all the time. If you go by that criteria, literally 60% of Japan (and people who try to be like Japan)'s content creators are pedos. If they're not sexualizing minors, they're killing them off. (err looking at you umineko)

Woah. I was not expecting this kind of conversation in this thread. What is going on> Like, important issues are important, but...this came out of nowhere. I think it's been relatively common knowledge that Bleedman is actually a pedophile... (edit: or at least, that's the popular word on it. It's not like legal documents have been posted online. I do remember people posting rather inappropriate pictures claimed to have been drawn by Bleedman). I used to like reading his stuff back in middle school / early high school, but looking at it with fresher eyes and it all does some off as sort of disconcerting. Maybe it's just a cultural difference though. This sort of stuff is more common in manga; why does it feel.... more bleh in western-esque media. Isn't Bleedman himself from the Philippines or Indonesia or something? Eh, probably not the best topic to have in the webcomics thread. Bleedman has been a controversial figure though.

It's a lot more taboo to sexualize minors in the west than it is to the east. Thus people are a lot more offended by it probably instinctively. For most people, when they see eastern-esque stuff like that, they think it's (mostly) normal (unless you've never been exposed to it much), because their culture is vastly different from us. It's mostly older people, with children and actual real worries that do freak out about it most of the time though. Though, yes, we should stop there, although I could discuss this for longer if we had a thread for it and weren't forced to de-rail one. To keep it on topic: I catched up on Demon. That was interesting. It seems pretty close to completion too, and is way shorter. I'd recommend taking a quick check-out.

On another news, Gunnerkrigg Court seems like it's starting a pretty interesting arc.

Oh I think you are talking about Zimmy! Yeah, she's a real cool character. Yep! There was a guy who got like her after that, pretty sure he went insane. Also everywhere he went there were cobwebs too. Crazy stuff, don't remember the chapter. If I do, I might be able to get back into reading it. It was after a bunch of shit with the robots that Igor (was it his name?) made to honor some dead girl he loved, and with the Coyote.
