You use the LOGS (x5) to make a simple bonfire fire, and then use the FIREMAKING KIT to set it ablaze.
(Yooo sorry for the long wait for a 1-page update whoops. i had a pre-arranged plan i had to do in May which left little time for UM updates i'll be more active from here on, if i can!)

It's refreshing, filling, and best of all, cheap! Combined with your sleep earlier it leaves you feeling well-rested.
Best of all, probably, is that it significantly rolled back the progress on your FROSTBITE down to only halfway, meaning you're probably safe to return to your trek.
If your memory serves:
NORTH of here was a CLOUD FOREST, Further up the mountain. EAST of here is a sheer DROPOFF, all the way down to the mountain base. SOUTH of here it slopes down, and bends around the MOUNTAINSIDE. WEST of here is a FISSURE, with a large imposing GLACIER at the bottom.
Where will you go?

Aaaaaaaaaaaa im not sure how many people are still here but i am SO sorry for falling off for MONTHS, i dont need to tell you all that 2020 has been "A Year" but i still shouldn't have dropped the ball that bad, i'll try to return to frequent-ish updates for the rest of the year, now that summer's behind us.

Head west to the Fissure.
You walk WESTWARD, taking you to the aforementioned FISSURE in the ground.
Peering to the bottom, you see the GLACIER far below, and a field of snow beyond it still. there is a CONSPICUOUS HOLE in the top, but it's too far down to safely reach...
>Head North.
You then make your way to the entrance of the CLOUD FOREST, you'd forgotten why you stopped exploring up here before. a DENSE FOG covers the area. you can barely see the WALL CARVING in front of you!

You unsheathe your hand, and place it on the HAND IMPRINT, but nothing happens.
You also try a whole bunch of things with the HEXAGONAL IMPRINT, but nothing seems to work.

You continue deeper into the forest,
the CLOUD BANK is thicker here, but you can still make out a PATH sloping gently to the side, and a PURPLE MARKER FLAG laying broken on the ground.

You briefly consider the options for wearing this bright, violet cloth. but nothing really fitting your Look stands out to you.

(Hey all, it's me again. there's been another big pause and i know you're probably all sick of that, BUT the reason this time was a finally got my computer and/or tablet replaced, and so i had to spend some time re-adjusting my binary brushes, i think it shows still oops. Anyway, gonna try for a more standard pace here forward, let's get this plot off the ground!)

to the northwest a ROCKY SLOPE rises into the heavens, to the northeast some snowy footprints lead into a CAVE.

The flags continue into the nearby CAVE MOUTH,
you follow it inside, careful of the SHARP SPIKES that ring the opening.

Edit: A further command for the sake of efficiency:
Wonder if corpse is this "M. Madison" you're supposed to deliver to. Contemplate whether it would be less ethical to read the letter or loot the corpse to try and find out.
