First adventure? I used to think mine was Sweet Hella Quest, started in early 2012 (still ongoing, at a fittingly erratic pace). But it turns out it was actually Talikuu Quest, which I did mid-2011. That period of time is perhaps the haziest to me, in terms of memory. But yeah, Talikuu Quest never really got anywhere, only reaching six pages in length. I never posted about it anywhere either, so it's sort of a "lost adventure." Years later, I brought it back as a brief scene in Runecrossed. And not too long after that, I ended up putting Runecrossed on hiatus. Perhaps the Curse of the Talikuu is a thing? Now I'm having second thoughts about including it as a cameo in Synodic Reboot... In case anyone's curious what a Talikuu even is, it started as a comic I did back in my later years of elementary school.

Aw dang, it seems my embarrassing older works have been discovered. Back when I had no idea how game design works.
I feel I should point out that despite the date it says it was added, it was actually made back in 2010; it must have been reuploaded at some point for whatever reason. I don't recommend playing it, unless you feel you may find humor in an elementary schooler's attempt of a ROM hack.

Me: My first adventure was crap and I dont want to talk about it.
Some douche: But hey, isn't your first also your current one, the one you said you'd always love doing no matter what ?
Me: That's why it's crap. But it's mine. And I love it.
Does anyone here think this way too ?

My first adventure was a shitty self insert Stuck adventure. I read what was recovered from MSPAFA, and it reads like a shitpost. EDIT: It says something that despite that I got to 60+ forum pages, and a second act that lasted about half as long EDIT 2: Seriously, here's an excert:

I've had several minor adventures, mostly text adventures since I don't have any art skills. But I got them excised from MSPAF. Aka removing The Tumor.
One of which was supposed to be an adventure playing Wizardry 8. But like, how do you show off a videogame people can't play? They asked for John Egbert, I gave them a handful of shitty edits. Most of which consisted of a gravestone. Aka don't know what I was gonna do, nothing to do with John Egbert so I killed him off.

i'm having a hard time converting chatlogs to this forum format you know what maybe ill just screenshot them that might actually be a good idea. i've been neglecting mirroring due to that. ideally though, MSPAFA should be able to get both to work?

QuestionQuest was my first adventure, and it was just way too strange to describe in detail. It was hosted in a private forum and had very very shit GIMP art.

My first fanvench was about some shitty fantroll marysue. It was really terrible in every aspect, but at least the art and designs were cute... kinda. That's the only redeeming quality in it. Thank god I deleted that shameful display off of mspfa. Also, I feel like a lot of people start off with sburbventures and then reboot them or make an entirely new original adventure later.

My first forum adventure was " Christmas Countdown Adventure: Old Space Nick", a silly, shitty thing I made while I was bouncing up and down excitedly for Christmas! Too bad it's gone now. At least I still have the panels to look at:

That sounds like it was a masterpiece. Bring it back please.

That sounds like it was a masterpiece. Bring it back please. Unfortunately, it was never archived! Not even a cache. I remember SOME of the commands and what I wrote, but as every writer knows, rewriting something you spent a lot of time on never lives up to the old version. At least that's how it feels

There's something called "school and education". It's a very old meme that has been the folly of many for years.

And sometimes, for a story, it might be just better to make one that doesn't accept reader commands. Sometimes you just wanna tell a story in your own way, without people taking it in a fucked up direction from where you don't really know what to do. Of course! That wouldn't be a forum adventure, though. Eh, debateable. My comic accepts very few reader requests and the comic is written several hundred pages in advance. Though I guess the fact that it accepts some commands at all nullifies it as an example.

i finally finished my finals and yet the forum's still dead why must education be this important to life It just is. It helps you have a better life. Why a better life means to have crippling debt, I'm not sure, but them's the breaks... At least here in America. Anyways, I'm sure things will pick up sometime in June. They usually do around that time. Maybe on the 12th when people talk about how absolutely nothing substantial is happening that day.

It'd be sad to see it die so quickly.

Don't worry, it's always temporary. A education helps you not be cripplingly dumb. My mother never studied and the amount of things she didn't know that pretty much everyone knows was astonishing.

Except didn't Finals just finish? or is it just stupidly inconsistant in different countries? I've been blaming Overwatch honestly, its been looking like its the new obsession of people that liked Homestuck, just like Undertale was (also its hella fun)
