I'll admit, I feel a bit silly for not reading those beforehand, and can see how I'd be in clear violation of some. I will abstain from posting such comments on this thread and, in addition, the rest of the forum as well. I had not meant to be an egregious disruption to a cordial community; I think I've spent too much time away from 'healthy' parts of the internet, and probably, as the autismo I am, forgot the certain boundaries and restrictions these communities put in place to maintain order. I see now that my comments are not, nor should have been welcomed. I apologize, sincerely, and will correct myself accordingly. I disagree, obviously, on your assessment of shock humor (or, rather, that my humor was intended for shock value), as well as some of the facets regarding the supposed racist/sexists jokes and 'prejudiced language' (really, those guidelines are far too vague), but I suppose my opinions on that matter are hardly relevant in this instance. As I said before, I'll attempt to desist. And honestly, I really am just here to have a good time and talk about a webcomic that I enjoy. I hadn't meant to derail or make things unpleasant for people, and while I have more I could say on the matter, I'd imagine it'd be neither appreciated nor constructive. If you want to discuss it further, I'd be happy to do so over a private message, because honestly, we've really, really derailed this thread and should probably get back on topic. Actually, I would like to discuss it further; I'm not exactly the best with keeping up on social cues, if you couldn't tell, and would appreciate all the help I could get. Anyway, actual confession: I went through a phase where I shipped Dave and Rose really, really hard. It was back in 2010, but jeez, it's pretty bad looking back on it. Alright, I kicked us off. No more needlessly creating drama over stupid shit; let's all just have a good time, right?

I foolishly hope people will continue to pay this much attention to politics after the 2016 election, regardless of their political leanings.

I sorta wish people could share any opinion without ridicule, as that is the point of the thread, but the rules are rules: even if that means you can't voice a certain opinion of yours

I listened to the Mouth Silence mashup album when I first read Homestuck, so whenever I listen to a couple of songs now, I associate Homestuck with them

I'm reading a manga right now. I paused on one page for a bit to just take in the face of one of the characters smiling, and I thought to myself, "It's been a while since I've gotten lost in an anime boy's eyes."

Loosely, yes. It was more general as you can't share any opinions that would be found offensive, or share an event that may be found "Indecent" it makes sense, but I wish people could share anything

I lurk people's profiles (this is the confession) and I am constantly amazed at how many people registered a long time ago but are really active with the recent snapchats. It doesn't take too much to bring people back or around, does it?

I'm amazed as to how I shoehorned in 500 posts in two months when people who registered in April still don't have 100.

I'm amused that registering in April is seen as "a long time ago," when on the old forums I regestered in 2011 and there were even some active members from far earlier than me.

Hey I feel you, I was around on the old forums since the PS finale.
BUT I think this forum is great. I love the theme, I love the back-end software for most things (MSPARP has some wicked sweet goodies if you go looking), and I love the easy-going people.
It may not be back then, but it's right now and that's always exciting.

I run sometimes without thinking about what's in front of me. Last night was the second time now I've been running and tripped and rolled to a halt on a road surface, thus scraping my hands up. Not so bad this time since I wasn't going too fast, but last time... blah.
Word of the wise, kids: don't run near roads unless you're willing to risk getting really badly scraped up. Even if a road surface has been freshly paved and looks super smooth, doens't mean it is. >_<;

This is probably not the place to post this, it's just that this forum is the only place on the internet I can work up the courage to post anything.
I'd rather just think all my 'friends' hate me than actually make an attempt to talk to any of them. I think all my issues are just made up and that I'm pretty much just an attention whore despite the fact that I never talk to anyone about them.

I'm a bit more... developed than my peers, so guys think it's okay to be completely perverts. Guys grope me, poke my breasts, and touch me without my permission. I ask them not to but they do it anyways, I really don't like it. It's becoming an everyday occurrence and I don't want to report it. I don't know what to do.
*Edit*
Everything turned out alright! I'm really happy that I did it!

Well, I guess it would dependant on who does it. If it's your friends than you should talk with them and make it clear what they're doing is unacceptable, and if they don't listen then they're not good friends. If it's certain other people, then I have to ask, why don't you want to report it? That seems like the right thing to do, as it's pretty much the definition of sexual harassment. If it's just guys in general and not one person or group in particular then ... well, I don't really know what's best to do there; I guess just try to avoid it and don't let it get to you?

You really should report it because they're expecting you not to do anything. They think they can get away with it. You need to make some kind of statement that tells them that you won't let them get away with it if they try it.

No offense, IC, but that's harassment and you should get new friends. I mean, it's possible, me and my friends never do shit like that. Sorry if you can't replace them and you're stuck with them, then I seem like an asshole, so sorry in advance.

You need to immediately report that, right the fuck now. That is absolutely 100% harassment and sexual assault, and should not be taken lightly. And tell them NO, regardless of whether you report it or not. Use words, because no one else will use them for you.

If it was just people subconsciously staring then it might be jumping the gun to go reporting it, but if they're actively leering and jeering then that's textbook harassment, and unwanted physical contact might even warrant being called assault, certainly so if it's a repeat occurrence.

Well put. I can't stand when people do that to people, and then there isn't any consequence.
