> PANIC! > Shoot the Door! > Shoot the turrents! > Shoot random things in every random direction you can think of! You open fire on absolutely everything, scorching and partially melting some of the door and blasting 3 of the machine gun turrets. I continue killing any robots in this room, but do not go out looking for them. if they shoot at me, I will use Majyks to block or avoid as many bullets as possible. if I have killed all the guardbots in the room, I check them for any useful items or pieces. You don't have to go searching for them. You're in the middle of the big fight. The two damaged guardbots closest to the party go down. I use the adrenaline to increase my hp. You claim the adrenaline and use it on yourself, granting yourself 25 temporary hit points. >Timetech: Continue to be terrible at remembering this exists and you're a part of it. I attempt to accept the Warhandmer from the past. Its time to reluctantly smash random enemies in a not quite as Kung-Fu method as I'm used to, [regardless of Warhandmer aquisition] but still a bit Kung-Fu Timeing-y. You respawn and take the war handmer! Surprisingly, your kung-fu trait still applies somewhat, even if not all the way. This still doesn't help you too much as you're not really describing your attacks. You spin across the room and smash up 2 of the guardbots defending the defenders. I attempt to be as careful as possible and smash some machinery, hopefully to complete the Bane of Hermes. (Assembly Welder kek) You smash up a number of various assembly pieces, but it does not help build up your boots, you have to do crafting yourself, especially to receive a legendary artifact. I ing the Pendulum in a frenzy and destroy a bunch of conveyor arms. Take that conveyor belt of constructivity and usefulness! You can't do that! You're not on the conveyor belts, you're still way up above getting your butt handed to you in the main hallway! I take off my spring boots and make one of the metal arms throw them up to con. You do just that, but unless con catches the boots they will be lost. I use my Shotgun to guard. Somehow. Somehow tells the GM basically nothing, so although it somewhat succeeds, it isn't super successful. Joebob, odd and timetech get shot at by everything there are explosions and pain and everyone takes 50 damage even with GM mercy. Jondanger tries to block with his shotgun and it... sort of works. he only takes 25 damage, but the shotgun gets borked. melonlord missed this round so I decide to be merciful and not have them get immediately 'sploded by the angry Iron Hulk Elsehwere, Telaxius gets shot at too, also taking 50 damage. con air is currently in a place where he can't be shot at, as he's still falling. Trickle is flying around and being careful, and despite his still hard to control boots, doesn't get hit by the angry machinery. Sailor doesn't do anything to protect himself but that was an amazing bit of teamwork and I'm not gonna penalize him for it so he does some awesome moves and dodges angry machinery too. Everything counts down, and trickle and sailor find themselves being harassed by a trio of hoverbots. Some of the lights on the giant robot being assembled begin to flash on and off.GM's note: Guys, you're supposed to try and dodge/block incoming attacks in some capacity. You guys are just sitting there and letting them kill you, and it's getting kinda annoying.

Ah shit, forgot about this amongst the thanksgiving preparations.
In a frankly unrealistic looney-tunes esque move, I lasso one of the incoming rockets with my whip and swing it back around into the colossus.
I roll away and attempt to either avoid the second one or tank it with my shield.

Sorry for the update taking so long, I got kicked off the computer for a while. > Shoot at the turrents. > Run around and try to dodge bullets. You continue to shoot the turre(n?)ts and drop the last machine gun turret, as well as one of the laser gun turrets. You successfully smash the rocket right back into the iron giant, dealing 100 damage and knocking it off balance. I suddenly channel my inner badass samurai man. A magical aura of mary sueness appears around me, and I turn my chicken sword into an ULTIMATE SWORD OF ULTIMATE DESTINY and slice all the Guardbots into pieces, put the pieces in a guardbot stew, use some Magical™ Salt™ (for the flavnor), and give it to everyone to increase their health. Sadly, none of those powers or items are currently in accessible locations to you, and all you manage to do is hack up a guardbot (After several tries. Dang, a wrench would work better than this stupid thing.) I slash up some assembly drills. I brace for any oncoming attacks. You cut up most of the assembly drills and prepare for incoming damage. I take the magical healing nanogel and heal myself, and use the second heal on Sail. I then smash some machinery making a hole in the wall, hiding myself from incoming attacks! You use the healing nanogel, restoring yourself and Sailor back to max health. There's no walls to make holes in, but there is a floor! You smash up the conveyor belt and dive inside, smashing the last autonomous drill and giving yourself a hiding spot. I tape the electronic bits together and make a flying robot to grab me and lift me up. You completely fail to do teamwork AND fail to reach "enough time and effort" to make a robot. It's just the basic parts, you're gonna need to put some effort into your action to make it work. Anyway, the spring boots are gone. but I did protect myself! "if they shoot at me, I will use Majyks to block or avoid as many bullets as possible" I run and hide, shielding myself with the majyks, and combine Laser cannon from the roulette and my crude magic wand once I’ve hidden. if the robots chase me, then I shoot back a the w/ cannon while protecting with wand, and keep running. Oh, apologies, 50 hit points restored to you as compensation There aren't any good places to run and hide! You can run... but to do that you've got to charge through... the... robots... Well, it turns out laser cannon/magic wand is enough to tear through a row of bots. 10 guardbots lose 25 health in his madcap dash for the exit. you upgrade your crude magic wand into the Powerful Laser Wand. Melonlord demonstrates understanding of how this game works and nimbly dodges the rocket that otherwise would've likely gibbed them. All three people in the main area of the hallway were AFK this round so nothing bad happens to them. But the penultimate wave begins knocking at the doors... In addition to a disgustingly large amount of guardbots, the door on the far side of the hallway disintegrates as a massive nanobot swarm rips it apart. Melonlord sees behind the Iron Hulk an HK Advanced model, small, lightweight and more than capable of matching you guys for strength. Telaxius runs around, easily dodging the one remaining laser. Conair hits the conveyor belt with a self-inflicted crunch. 100 damage taken. Sailor braces for the incoming attacks, and thusly only takes 10 damage from the incoming attacks. Trickle avoids the incoming barrage entirely from his hole the ground, but is lifted out by one of the mechanical arms. More hoverbots arrive, and you see something a bit larger in the distance coming from deeper in the factory, behind where the giant death robot is being made. Main Overlook Hallway: (Final wave in 5 rounds) open exit {P} melonlord: 150/200 HP (Inventory: Spiked helmet, Razor Tower Shield, Lightning Whip) [E] Iron Hulk: Hp: 250/500 (off balance) [E] Hunter-Killer Advanced Model: Hp: 250/250 [E] Guardbots x4: Hp: 100/100 [E] Guardbots x10: Hp: 75/100 [E] Guardbot: Hp: 55/100 {P} theoddisee: 150/300 HP (Inventory: The Pendulum (legendary)) (Traits: Tanky) {P} Timetech: 150/200 HP (Inventory: War Handmer) (Traits: Kung fu master) {P} jondanger: 25/200 HP (Inventory: chicken sword) [E] Guardbots x2: Hp: 60/100 [E] Guardbots x9: Hp: 100/100 [E] Defenders x2: Hp: 300/300 [E] Nanobot swarm: Hp: 1500/1500 Conveyor Belts: [E] Assembly Arms x4: 50/50 HP [E] Assembly Welder x3: 50/50 HP [E] Hoverbots x7: 50/50 HP {P} Sailor: 190/200 HP (Inventory: Flashlight, Obsidian Claymore, defibrillator) (Perks: Jumpy) {P} Tricklejest: 200/200 HP (Inventory: Industrial EMP, Smooth Marble Broadsword, Bane of Hermes (incomplete), pile of whoopee cushions) (Perks: Gotta Go Fast) {P} conair: 50/200 HP (Inventory: Beacon (legendary), adrenaline shots (4 uses left)) 25 temp HP(5) Hallways: {P} joebob: 70/200 HP (Inventory: Powerful Laser Wand, scrap metal knife) Doorway out: (troops in 1 round) {U}Giant metal door {P} Telaxius: 110/200 HP (Inventory: Ion Gloves) [E] Laser Turret: 100/100 HP Items: Welder: It's a high strength industrial welder Giant rocket: This is an inexplicably large rocket propelled explosive. Wouldn't the metal hulk be at 250 now?
Hm...crawler treads, electronics, a welder, a bunch of assorted turret bits. Seems like we have the necessary components for a pretty badass robot here, but it also seems like none of us will be able to take a whole turn to properly put it together while also under attack. And I'm cut off over here...
I offer my shield up to someone else in the main hall, on the condition that they use it to provide cover for someone else while they assemble a robot. If they take it, I focus on evasion and defense, trying to keep the hulk from regaining its footing by using my whip to tangle it, and trying to keep the hulk between myself and the HK-bot.
If nobody takes the shield, I instead take the initiative and launch a full-on assault on the metal hulk, bashing it with my shield and slinging any nearby guardbots into it with my whip, doing whatever I can to keep it from recovering.

I deploy all of the whoopee cushions on top of the hidey hole like a blanket, and also like camoflauge, so I'm ready to hop in at the end of the round.
Now that I cleared my inventory of the cushions, I use game logic (which exists in this game canonically, already being present in the form of toxic waste being green paint, remember that?) and duct tape some machine parts to my Bane of Hermes to attempt to finish it.
I jump in the hole for incoming attacks.

I consider combining toxic waste and my laser wand, but decide that it probably isn’t as useful since our opponents are robots. if there are any more laser cannons readily available, i add them to my wand, hopefully making it better. if there are a bunch of robots nearby, I attack them with my laser wand while trying to move in an unpredictable manner to avoid taking as much damage. I also ponder what will happen to my wand if/when I die. will it remain on my dead body? can other people take it? is it destroyed?

I would think so.] while doing so and time the swings for most effective use of said momentum. Because that's in part what Kung Fu involves. [Kinda what I meant by my previous turn, sorry.]

So, I'm noticing people are beginning to lose interest a little bit, is it just school/family stuff, or am I amping up the difficulty too quickly? If you guys think I should make some changes to how I'm running, go ahead and say so, I'm running this so you guys can have a good time. > I grab the rocket and set it to blow. > Shoot at the turret, maybe if I can get close to it I can kick it over. > After doing that, Duck and Cover! Hopefully this will shield you from the blast. You duck and cover behind a wall, wait for the blast, and look back out. Not only has the turret been dealt with, but the door has been successfully opened. If nobody takes the shield, I instead take the initiative and launch a full-on assault on the metal hulk, bashing it with my shield and slinging any nearby guardbots into it with my whip, doing whatever I can to keep it from recovering. Agh, sorry. I fixed it. Nobody takes the shield, so you charge straight into the hulk, smashing a guardbot into it with your whip, killing the guardbot, dealing 150 damage to the metal hulk and knocking it over, where it will likely stay because it is too bulky to get upright on its own. I take the cable cutters and toss them at the Guardbots, and then proceed to dodge roll out of the way of any attacks. You throw the cable cutters at the guardbots, breaking two of them, and begin DO A BARREL ROLL I deploy all of the whoopee cushions on top of the hidey hole like a blanket, and also like camoflauge, so I'm ready to hop in at the end of the round. You cover up the hole with whoopee cushions, making it more impenetrable than before AND using up the whoopee cushions. The GM sits and stares at the screen for a few seconds and the brilliant use of game logic presented before me. I decide to accept your logic here, and you complete Hermes Bane, at the cost of the entire roll of Duct Tape. You now have a legendary artifact in your inventory. There are sadly no easily available laser cannon..s. No, nevermind there are, you just ran into the hallway with the laser and machine gun turrest from earlier. You promptly cut down the laser turrets among the bunch and add it to your wand. (( con air did you not see my post you made me lose the spring boots i'm not helping you anymore, you suck, especially since I CAN'T GET BACK UP ANYMORE.)) I grab the roll of duct tape and combine my flashlight and the claymore with it, i then smash up the welders. I decide to elect you pity and say trickle hands you the last shreds, you make the "Obsidian claymore with a flashlight taped to it" and then proceed to obliterate the automated welding arms with your sword. Not only do I have a hard time understanding what is happening/whats near me/pretty much anything about the situation, I continuously fail at remembering this. I'm starting to think I should leave. >Timetech: Smash nearby guardbots, using the Warhandmer and general momentum of the fight to swing around the fight [Does this count as trying to dodge? I would think so.] while doing so and time the swings for most effective use of said momentum. Because that's in part what Kung Fu involves. [Kinda what I meant by my previous turn, sorry.] It's okay if you decide to drop out, just let me know beforehand so I can put your stuff into the roulette. Anyways, you tear your way through 5 semi-damaged guardbots, reducing them all to scrap. Melonlord barely dodges to the side as a bolt of plasma darts past their face. The Hunter-Killer has locked onto them, it leaps over the guardbots in the interrim, and activates a large particle blade, holding it ready while trying to line up another shot with its rifle. Jondanger begins rolling around faster than Link on track day, dodging all of the bullets that timetech tanks, taking 50 damage. Odd is still afk. The nanobot swarm rushes past the various bots and charges right at everyone, disassembling two guardbots that get in the way. Trickle hides in his hole, and nothing can get to him through the whoopee cushions. Sailor on the other hand is out in the open and takes 60 damage from assorted bots and being thwacked on the head by angry mechanical arms. 3 more Hoverbots arrived. They are aided by a miniature hovertank. It looks very scary. Joebob continues moving erratically, proving once and for all that the machine gun turrets have the aiming skills of storm troopers. Telaxius looks out the doorway, it's raining outside, not too heavily. The reason this is disconcerting is that the entire factory appears to be out in the middle of the ocean. There are a number of catwalks between the various buildings, but it seems the fastest way might be barge hopping... He looks around trying to figure out which way he should go... and sees, off along the edge of the building down at the loading dock a large platform, rising up out of the sea with only two things on it, what looks kind of like an airship of some kind... and a very, very conspicuous shrine made of rock that seems to meld right into the metal. It contains part of one of the two chains that should've opened the massive door back in the main dungeon. Something seems to be jamming it though. If you can get over there, you should be able to complete this leg of your journey and get back to hunting down The Conqueror. Then the guardbots show up down at the end of the corridor and begin shooting at him. you can either stop to fight them while you prep, or jump right now. Main Overlook Hallway: (Final wave in 4 rounds) open exit {P} melonlord: 150/200 HP (Inventory: Spiked helmet, Razor Tower Shield, Lightning Whip) [E] Hunter-Killer Advanced Model: Hp: 250/250 [E] Iron Hulk: Hp: 100/500 (Downed) [E] Guardbots x3: Hp: 100/100 [E] Guardbots x3: Hp: 75/100 [E] Guardbot: Hp: 55/100 {P} theoddisee: 150/300 HP (Inventory: The Pendulum (legendary)) (Traits: Tanky) {P} Timetech: 100/200 HP (Inventory: War Handmer) (Traits: Kung fu master) {P} jondanger: 25/200 HP (Inventory: chicken sword) [E] Guardbots x2: Hp: 60/100 [E] Guardbots x7: Hp: 100/100 [E] Defenders x2: Hp: 300/300 [E] Nanobot swarm: Hp: 1500/1500 Conveyor Belts: [E] Assembly Arms x4: 50/50 HP [E] Hoverbots x10: 50/50 HP [E] Mini Hover Tank: 500/500 HP {P} Sailor: 130/200 HP (Inventory: Obsidian Claymore with a Flashlight taped to it, defibrillator) {P} Tricklejest: 200/200 HP (Inventory: Industrial EMP, Smooth Marble Broadsword, Bane of Hermes (legendary)) (Perks: Gotta Go Fast) {P} conair: 50/200 HP (Inventory: Beacon (legendary), adrenaline shots (4 uses left)) 20 temp HP(5) Hallways: [E] machine gun turrets x4: 50/50 HP {P} joebob: 70/200 HP (Inventory: Mutli Laser Wand, scrap metal knife) Doorway out: [E] Guardbots x5: 100/100 HP {P} Telaxius: 110/200 HP (Inventory: Ion Gloves) Items: Welder: It's a high strength industrial welder Pile of advanced electronics: Given enough time and effort you guys could probably assemble an army of robot buddies.
